Magnificent Maharashtra
On 1st May every year, there is a grand parade of various contingents at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park Park ground in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Here are some photos of the police contingent.

At the Maharashtra Day parade held annually at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park grounds in Mumbai, Maharashtra, there is a contingent of the women personnel of the Police Force. Their marching is of a high standard and later in the parade, you will see the special patrol cars manned by the Bravehearts. Photos from the 2023 parade are in this blog.
It is unfortunate that there is always a very sparse number of people to cheer them as they emerge from the gate to march down the road surrounding the park. Wish there would be more people to show their support for them!
It was exciting to once again visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Art Festival at Shivaji Park, Mumbai. There are stalls selling various products, art installations, and a food fest at the grounds of the well-known Vanita Samaj. Within the park, too, there are beautiful Art installations and selfie points for photographic moments to cherish forever. Do not miss this festival!
Western Railway has released the schedule of three pairs of Winter Special Trains on special fares to various destinations, namely, New Delhi, Bhagat Ki Kothi in Rajashtan, Udhna in Gujarat, and Hisar in Haryana to and fro from Mumbai Central Station in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Every year, we have visited the Bengal Club's Durga Puja pandal at Shivaji Park, Mumbai, been awed by the grand decor, and the beautiful idols, and mesmerized by the Puja aartis. After a two-year break due to the pandemic, we were happy to once visit the pandal and soak in the grandeur. This year's pandal has been designed by Nitin Desai, the well-known Art Director who designs sets for Bollywood.
